I can't reach through your iPods and kiss you yet (that update is still in the R&D stage) so a figurative wet, sloppy smooch will have to do.

Everyone please bend down and return the soft gentle kiss from SkyVu that is the REVISED CONTROL UPDATE.

We've been hunched over our computers like troglodyte homunculi feverishly reading everyones feedback on the controls and working like fiends to correct them.

This is what happens when you tell us our nose is too big or that this dress make our butts look fat; we go an get plastic surgery and you're the only one who's happy.

Having said all of that, it is extremely important to us that we get your feedback on these new controls. Leaving a comment, a new rating for us on the iTunes store, anything you can do to convey to us your honest opinions on the new controls.

Once you're all happy with the controls we can begin pushing out these new content updates we've been dangling in front of you for so long <3

Looks like we have a few things to apologize for.

#1.We didn't quite make our Spring deadline but, worry not, the appropriate interns have been disciplined whether or not their involvement was direct or present in any way at all. Also, for your benefit only, I will pretend to apologize for late kick-off. "I'm sorry".

#2. I'm also very sorry that we've made one of the best games you'll ever play thusly dampening the experience you will have with every subsequent game you play in the future. "Halo 4: Master Quest Space Upheaval: The Covenant's Cosmic Cataclysm" won't be as fun or thrilling as you were hoping, not after you've played BATTLE BEARS -1. 

 #3. I must prematurely apologize for any of your pets or furniture that may become damaged in your guaranteed "Awezure" (The SkyVu patened "Awesome Seizure") after you've had some special time alone with our game. BATTLE BEARS -1.

 Hey, did I mention that BATTLE BEARS -1 has been completed* and submitted to the app store for approval!? NO?!

Six months ago (Sept 2009), a little unknown game called BATTLE BEARS came out of nowhere to become the #1 Action and Adventure game on iTunes.  Six months later, BATTLE BEARS remains one of the top ranked games.  Thanks to our dedicated fans, BATTLE BEARS paid & free has since been downloaded over 2 Million times!  Accept no imitations.  BATTLE BEARS is here to stay.  The SkyVu Pictures team would like to thank everyone who has downloaded our game.  The enthusiasm and support from fans of OLIVER and the BATTLE BEARS fuel our creativity and we look forward to bringing more games and products in 2010 and beyond!

This minor update will fix the crashing issue that happens on devices running the older OS 2.0 and 2.2.1 operating systems.

Players that already have OS 3.0 and the 1.5.2 update do not need to update to 1.5.3, as the fix only applies to devices running OS 2.x

The 1.5.2 update included:

 

  • New Pause Button - tap on the pink bear icon next to the score to pause the game
  • Removed the Tilt-to-Pause function
  • PLAY ALL MOVIES button that is unlocked after winning any Story Mode.  Now you can play all the cut scenes in order.
  • Laser Gun now takes less time to charge up and fire
  • Shotgun now reloads faster so you can kill more Huggable Zombies
  • Zombie level on EASY has been adjusted to be a bit easier
  • Tips & Tricks section added to the bottom of the Credits panel
  • Updated the app icon to feature OLIVER
  • Updated the app title to BATTLE BEARS: Zombies! to feature the last level
  • Facebook, Twitter, and Soundtrack links added to the Credits panel
